Since 2019, our business is dedicated to providing transportation services for precious cargo, specifically foster kids and parents throughout the State of Alabama. Using a reliable 2018 Honda Odyssey, we ensure safe and efficient transportation for various purposes such as medical appointments, school activities, court hearings, visits to potential adoptive parents, gift deliveries during the holiday season, and visits to relatives.

As per the requests of Social Workers, we fulfill transportation needs, covering an extensive range of locations spanning over 6,000 to 9,000 miles per month. With a majority of our trips centered around areas south of Birmingham, we frequently travel to Troy, Ozark, Mobile, Fort Deposit, Huntsville, Athens, and Courtland.  Given the limited availability of foster care homes in Birmingham and the presence of over 6,000 kids in the foster care system, our full-time commitment as a dependable resource provider to Social Workers is of paramount importance.

In this position, I not only transport but I also serve as the essential link between foster families, social workers, and transport personnel. I meticulously manage schedules to align the availability of transporters with the needs of the children. Every ride is planned with the utmost consideration for timeliness, safety, and comfort.  I maintain open lines of communication with social workers, foster families, and transporters. This involves relaying important information, addressing concerns, and ensuring that everyone involved is informed about transportation logistics.

As a dispatcher tasked with coordinating transportation for foster children, my role is pivotal in ensuring that these vulnerable young individuals receive the support they need to get to visits. Each day presents a unique set of challenges and opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of these children, ensuring they are safely transported to placements, medical appointments, or recreational activities.
